Business English – New York Tech Meetup
This week you business english enthusiast managed to capture a ticket for the NY Tech Meetup. Â The numbers first: 22,000 readers of the meetup posts, 8000 members. Â The meetup is once a month, tickets sell out in minutes. Â This month there were 800 tickets ($10 each) on sale, sold out in 15 minutes.
11 companies demo – to the Technology people of New York.  Awesome, lots of energy  and very very helpful bunch.  I could not get a ticket, put up a post 1 day before the event .  I received 3 offers, the one I took became immediately a friendly connection.  The virus is in full swing here.

Note the tone, the rate of speech, the way demoers make fun of themselves when stuck in a sentence, the way they interact, look at the crowd and occassionally throw stuff at them
