Ivan is partner at Finext, the manager of the largest JEREMIE fund aimed at financing young Hungarian SME’s. Mr. Halasz has been closely involved in Finext investments, including: Intelisense and GPS Pocketguide
Before, he was Principal at Euroventures and has advised four Central European private equity programs. Ivan has been closely involved in Euroventures’ investments in a number of companies, including: Fathom Technology, SkyEurope Airlines, BVfon. He started as an Associate of BlackRock Inc. in New York and was Investment Manager at First Hungary Fund in Budapest.
Ivan is Member of the Board of the Hungarian Venture Capital Association; he holds a BSc (Econ) from Brandeis University and an MBA from INSEAD
